DNS Propagation

1 min read

Hi there,

A check shows that your recent DNS record change has not yet propagated globally which may explain why you are unable to resolve your domain name to our IP.

Domain propagation times can vary and are unfortunately out of our hands. You can make sure you mitigate problems caused by any local DNS caching by following the steps below, but we always advise to allow for up to 72 hours for a DNS change to propagate fully (although usually we see this happen sooner).

To rule out local DNS caching:
——————————————————————————————————-
-Try reloading the web page in your current browser by pressing Ctrl+F5
-Try reloading the web page in your current browser in an In Private window
-Try reloading the web page in a separate browser
——————————————————————————————————-
If you are still seeing the same issue please continue to the following steps:
-Try rebooting the device you are trying to connect on
-Try loading the URL on a different device attached to the same network
-Try rebooting your router
-Try loading the URL on a different device on a different network (eg Phone 3G/4G connection)
——————————————————————————————————-

If you are still unable to resolve the domain to our IP after 72 hours and you have followed the above steps, please get back to us to see if there is anything we can do to troubleshoot this here.
